March 9-13, 2020

Let’s rally to let HUD know that we won't stand for the the proposed changes to the AFFH rule! Join us March 9 – 13 for a series of events to oppose the proposal before the March 16 comment deadline. Download a toolkit  for ideas about how to participate.

We encourage advocates, tenants, and other community members to generate as many unique comments by holding commenting parties in your communities. Our Commenting Party Toolkit has helpful tips and guidance to help you organize a successful event. Our Resources page has information you may find useful in crafting your comments.

Make sure your colleagues, friends, and family know about the HUD proposal and why it's bad for advancing equity. Encourage them to submit a comment opposing HUD's proposal. Send out e-blasts, submit op-eds, and post on social media using the hashtags  #KeepHousingFair and #FightForHousingJustice. Download sample tweets and language for an email and op-ed.
